  Incomparable Warranty

  Each of our Croton Watches features an incomparable lifetime warranty*. Here is a recent factory warranty statement:
  “Your Croton timepiece is warranted for lifetime against failures due to defective materials or workmanship. Should a defect occur, it will be repaired free of charge ($15 service fee for shipping, handling and insurance applies) and will be returned promptly.

  “Please do not attempt to open your watch yourself. Repairs should only be performed by our repair center to ensure dust free conditions and to maintain the water resistance and accuracy of your timepiece, as well as preserve the full coverage of your Croton warranty.

  “The Croton Watches warranty does not cover cases, batteries, watchbands, straps, dials, crowns, or crystals since these items are subject to the “wear and tear” of daily use. Unlike other brands, it is a simple process to receive your repair. Contact us for more information.”

  Repairs

  In today’s disposable society it is reassuring to know that, if the unthinkable should happen, your prized watch can be sent to the factory in New Jersey for a quick and reasonable repair.   History of Croton Watches

  The Croton Watch Co., Inc. was founded 1878 – a time when watchmaking was in its infancy and each timepiece was a marvel of technology. Croton, a family business, was focused on manufacturing price-is-no-object, high-end watches which were sold through exclusive jewelers throughout the United States.

  Through the years, Croton watches have become so highly regarded in the watch industry that they have become private label manufacturers for a number of brands. They are the watchmaker’s watchmaker.

  Today, the Mermelstein family own the New Jersey based company and manufacture their watches in a large facility in Moonachie where, to again quote the factory, they still focus on the philosophy that “precision, quality, style and value go hand in hand”
